3. The "Generic" Objective Statement
"Objective: To obtain a challenging position that utilizes my skills."
Snooze. This tells the employer nothing about what YOU bring to the table. Instead, use a Professional Summary that highlights your specific achievements and value. This is your chance to tell your story, much like you would in a compelling cover letter.
4. Making It Too Long
